If you are looking for a smart investment, building a deck is the answer. Expanding your living space to the outdoors is one of the most affordable ways to increase the value of your home. With a wide variety of materials and endless design options, we will work with you every step of the way to create your dream space.

We understand that it can be difficult to visualize a new outdoor space. This is why we offer our clients 3D sketches that are drawn to scale, allowing them to see exactly what their new deck project will look like. These sketches also allow us to incorporate our vision with our client's visions, to design and create a truly functional and beautiful outdoor living space.

Cedar is infused with natural oils that make it resistant to rot. It also experiences minimal shrinkage and swelling. This is a higher end wood that has natural beauty. We use “Western Red Cedar “, it comes from the regulated forests in B.C. It is advisable to stain cedar 1-3 months after installation (to maintain the healthy looking appearance, rather than a whitening that occurs over time).

Brown Pressure-Treated

Pressure-treated wood comes with a tint already infused within the wood which is light brown. The wood used is typically pine. Pressure-treated wood has been immersed in a bath of preservatives and put into a pressurized tank. This allows the wood to avoid swelling and shrinking, and protects against the elements. It is advisable to stain the lumber 4-6 months after installation to best protect the wood, and to preserve a nice colour.

Composite decking materials have been rising in popularity since they made their way onto the market. Composite decking is long-lasting, extremely durable, and cannot rot. These materials are mainly made up of recycled materials, and come in a wide-variety of colours and textures. Composite decking does come with a higher price tag, but offers a virtually maintenance-free alternative to traditional wood decks, and allows for a much greater freedom of stylistic expression.
